Description

This tablet is a drug that is a contraceptive, and its primary function is avoidance of pregnancy. It is a birth control medicine, which is mostly consumed orally and is an admixture of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. It also prevents the process of ovulation and changes the constituency of the cervical mucus that doesn’t allow sperm to reach an ovum, and thus it inhibits the process of fertilization and pregnancy.

Cerazette 0.075mg tablet is a progestin. It works to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting the release of an egg from the ovary or preventing fertilization of the egg by male reproductive cells. It may work by changing the lining of the uterus (womb) to inhibit the development of a pregnancy.

Take this medicine in the dosage and duration as suggested by your physician. Swallow this medicine as a whole. Don’t chew, crush or break it. Cerazette tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to consume it at a fixed time.

 

Missed Dose

In case if you miss any dosage, take it as sooner as you notice. If it is near to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your dosing schedule. Don’t use an extra dosage to make up for a missed dosage. If you are continuously missing doses, consider setting the alarm or asking a family member to remember you. Please talk with your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed dosage, if you have missed many doses recently.

 

OverDose

Don’t use more than the prescribed dosage. Taking more pill will not improve your health; instead, they may cause poisoning or dangerous side-effects.

Don’t give your tablets to other people even if they have the same condition or it seems like similar situations. This may cause overdosage.

  • Missed or irregular menstrual periods
  • Weight gain
  • Muscle pain
